I have been cooking Thanksgiving dinner for my family for 30 years. I mark this number because it was 30 years ago (almost) that my first daughter, Carlyle, was born. Before then, I have virtually no memory of Thanksgiving. I most always hosted Thanksgiving Holiday primarily because I had a lot of little children and it was easier (for me) to host than to travel. My American family is still in the US and they don’t celebrate until November. On occasion my family would venture north and we were able to enjoy dinner all together.
